Africa consists of many subregions and territories. Itis second-largest and second-most-populous continent in the world and covers six percent of the Earth's total surface area.

Most of Africa is dominated by desert and savannah plains, though there are also stretches of rainforest

It is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, the Northern and Southern Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Indian Ocean, the Red Sea and the Suez Chanel to the east.

Africa has a very diverse culture and has very fine beaches, especially in the east. Off the coast of Africa are several islands to enjoy also the beaches.

Most travellers visiting Africa, fly in and although there are much less flights to the African cities compared with other continents. There are many continents that have direct flights to a number of cities. The most popular areas to fly to are the eastern and southern parts of Africa and especially South Africa. Europe has the best deals from where you can also take several ferries, for example to Morocco from Spain.
